Wishing you Healthy Hair in The New Year

Did you know that almost 50% of us make New Year’s Resolutions? And that about 75% of those resolutions are based on self-improvement? That’s not so surprising, really; after all, many of us have high hopes of changing our lives for the better – from eating well and getting in shape to saving money. The New Year is a great time to start anew!
This upcoming year, thousands of women are hoping to achieve healthy hair. Some may hope to combat hair loss, while others may look to grow longer, shinier, thicker, more lustrous hair. Follow these hair healthy tips to help with your New Year hair resolutions! 

  • Keep your body hydrated.
  • Don’t overwash, over style, or overprocess your hair.
  • Use good quality hair products and avoid harsh detergents in commercial shampoos, and chemicals in your other hair products.
  • Use a water filter/softener in your shower to remove chlorine and hard minerals that can build up on your hair making it dull and lifeless.
  • Brush your hair before you shower.
  • Use a wide-toothed comb to comb out your hair after washing it.
