Cat's Claw for Psoriatic Arthritis

Our wonderful fan, Lisa, had a question about Psoriatic Arthritis. The #1 herb that I recommend for Psoriatic Arthritis is Cat’s Claw (Uncaria tomentosa)*.

Cat's Claw helps to decrease TNF (Tumor Necrosis Factor), an inflammatory metabolite produced by our T cells, a type of white blood cell. TNF gets produced in excess amounts in certain autoimmune disorders like Psoriatic Arthritis & Rheumatoid Arthritis.

For the associated joint inflammation, I also recommend fish oil, especially EPA, and herbs such as Turmeric and Boswellia. Bromelain from pineapple stem is another excellent anti-inflammatory. It's in our Joint Relief product, alongside Boswellia.

*It’s important to discuss any herbs or supplements, including Cat's Claw, with your doctor before using, as they may need to monitor and adjust your medications accordingly, especially immunosuppressive agents.

Here are the top products I recommend for Psoriatic Arthritis and which you may wish to consider discussing with your doctor:
